You would like to help and dont know where to start
There are many ways to support our work.
The first and most significant one is to volunteer with us. We are currently working with 3 volunteer lawyers and 8 to 10 volunteer interpreters on a rolling basis. But beyond that, there are a number of skills that can be valuable to any non-profit organisation. The most important asset is time. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’d like to volunteer with us and don’t know how. But if you are not able to volunteer, there are still a number of ways to help.
Another way to support our work is to donate. People usually believe that only big donations matter. That is simply not true. Times are incredibly challenging for organisations working with asylum seekers. Every single euro counts. We welcome any kind of donations: big, average, small, yearly, monthly, whatever people can afford. You can donate directly on our HelloAsso page, which is available in English and French.
If you can’t afford to volunteer or donate, you can still support our work online. Following us on social media and promoting our work online is a big push for us and can really make a difference. Sharing and liking our publications will shed light on the issues we are fighting against and build wider awareness.
If you’d like to discuss this further, please get in touch at contact@equallegalaid.org
You would like to donate and struggle on our donation page
HelloAsso is an French independent donation platform that is free of charge for non-profit organisations and donors. There are no fees for donations or running costs. Donors can opt to support the platform by rounding up their donation, but this isn’t mandatory.
Our donation page is available in French and in English here. After your donation, you will receive a confirmation email.
Should you wish to make a direct donation in EURO, USD or GBP, please contact us at contact@equalelegalaid.org.
